Zeljko Mucko was born on 1st, January 1959 in Koprivnica, Croatia. |
He finished the School of Applied Arts in Zagreb in 1978, Department of Painting, where his professors had been Josip Biffel, Francina Dolenec and Danijel Žabčić. For a year, he studied at the Faculty of Applied Arts Belgrade, Yugoslavia. |
He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, Department of Painting, in 1984, in Prof. Raoul Goldoni’s class. His professors were Dalibor Paračić, Ivo Frišćić, Zlatko Kauzlarić Atač, Ferdinand Kulmer and ime Perić. In 1984, he was awarded for his graduation work by the Board of the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. |
He took part in the ”Internationale Sommerakademie für Bildende Kunst” in Salzburg in 1994, having won a scholarship granted by the Government of Austria, in the class of Nancy Spero and Leon Golub. He has been exhibiting since 1981 at over 30 one- man exhibitions and a number of group exhibitions. |
